Chateau Kladno

Kladno, Czech Republic (CZ)
Chateau Kladno was originally a medieval stronghold, called "Horejší tvrz" (Upeer Stronghold) with the only preserved original part of a Gothic basement. A three-wing two-storey Renaissance building was built on the site in the middle the 16th century. This chateau was reconstructed and reshaped to its present late-Baroque form by a famous architect Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer in 1738-1740.
