Google maps shows the house as demolished with a new large traditional house going up. Another mid-century house lost to a McMansion.

I thought of Victor very early this morning, out of the foggy depths of the past. I feel he saved my life when I was in my early 20's and living alone for the first time. This was at Columbia University, 50 years ago. The civil rights movement was over. Where to go from here? I no longer remember the stories he told me. Only that they helped me survive.
