Citi Field (completed in 2009) is the home baseball park of Major League Baseball's New York Mets. It was built as a replacement for the adjacent Shea Stadium, which was constructed in 1964 next to the site of the 1964-1965 World's Fair

As a Mets fan, it was interesting seeing the new Taxpayer Field go up behind Left Field of Shea Stadium. With Shea being open from left to center to right field, construction was clearly visible on TV.

I wonder how long before there's new satellite imagery for this location. There's no sign of Citi Field in these images yet it's been completed for a year now and before that it was under construction for at least two years.
