Clean up of destroyed hangars

Zlitan, Libya (LY)
It would appear that the Libyans have started removing the old destroyed hangars and piled all the "trash and rubble" to one end. It would seem they have removed tanks that were underneath the hangars outside. Don't know if they are recoverable or also will be trashed. Finally, the concrete slab seems to be scorched but probably not damaged to the point where it has to be replaced, it will be interesting to see if they just rebuild over the slab.

This is a possibility as other hangars have already been simply replaced.

Hangers for what? I don't see a runway or helo pads.

Look just to the dirt lot next to the cleaned up "hangars" or buildings and you see about 100 tanks/IFVs that more than likely were under there. Some of them seemed to be damaged but it is possible that some can be repaired or cannibalized for parts.

Ahhhh. I normally only associate hangers with aircraft.
