Coin Shaped Building

Fangyuan Mansion, a 25 storied, 100 metre high commercial office complex in Shenyang, China is shaped like stack of ancient Chinese copper coins with square hole. Completed in 2001, this strange looking building which symbolises the rich and the wealth in Chinese tradition, was designed by C.Y. Lee, the architect who had also designed the famous 508-metre tall Taipei 101 skyscraper.
