This 1/4 mile race track held stock car races from 1955 through 2014. In the spring of 2015, it was sold to Madison Area Technical College. The school paid $583,000 in order to have a facility for emergency vehicle driver training. They have no intentions of holding racing events in the future, which has angered the local racing community.
