Since 1919, ConocoPhillips Company's Los Angeles Refinery has been transforming crude oil into valuable energy resources vital to California's economy. Operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, ConocoPhillips Los Angeles Refinery supplies more than 140,000 barrels a day (each barrel equals 42 gallons) of clean burning transportation fuels and other energy products for jets, trucks and automobiles. ConocoPhillips Los Angeles Refinery consists of two refinery facilities, the facility in Wilmington and another in Carson. The ConocoPhillips Wilmington facility sits on 424 acres while our Carson facility covers 235 acres. ConocoPhillips currently employs about 600 people between the two sites.
