The new home of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins opened in 2010. The 18,087 seat arena was built on the former site of the St. Francis Hospital - directly across the street from the Penguins' previous home of the Mellon Arena.
Until October 2016, it was named Consol Energy Center. PPG signed a 20 year naming rights agreement.
