Description:The Uvalde Proving Grounds was built in 1959 by General Tire. In 1997 Continental AG replicated the Contidrom‘s main wet grip circuits at the Uvalde test site.

Currently, there are eleven different test courses including a 3-lane 8 1/2 mile high speed oval, various asphalt, cement, gravel, dirt and off-road rock courses as well as numerous high performance and special test courses.
