Cruz Pedregon's NHRA Funny Car

Drag racing veteran Cruz Pedregon's funny car is on display in the parking lot of the NASCAR Technical Institute, a school which prepares students for careers in auto racing.

Pedregon won the NHRA funny car season championships in 1992 and 2008. His brother Tony is also a two-time champion and still competes in the NHRA. The brothers are two of the most successful Hispanic drivers in the history of American motorsports.
