The home, named "The Temple House" was built in 1933 as a single family home by famed Art Deco architect L. Murray Dixon. In 1942 the property was converted into a Synagogue, The Joseph-Jacob Congregation (which later became South Beach's famous Temple Emanuel. In early 2003, Davidson purchased the building and converted it back into a single family home, making it the largest home in South Beach.
