The serial killer, currently serving 6 life terms in an upstate New York Correctional Facility, who terrorized New York City, killing 7 and wounding 7 more, during the summer of 1977 known as the Son of Sam, lived in and was arrested in front of this apartment building on Pine St. in Yonkers.

The house directly south of the apartment complex on the corner lot is where Sam Carr lived, the neighbor who's dog Berkowitz claimed was possesed by a demon and commanded him to kill.
