A wealthy Chinese power couple lives here. Liu is the owner of Standard Portfolios Asset Management Co., which owns more than $500 million of apartments across the United States. His wife Lisa Zhou runs the couple's furniture manufacturing/distribution firm, Gensun Casual Living. Over the past 10 years, the company has grown to become one of the most successful players in the outdoor furniture market.
Liu and Zhou have lived in this Bradbury Estates house since 1995, but they will be moving shortly. They recently filed permits to demolish this entire property (including the pool and tennis court) and replace it with a nearly 20,000 square foot compound.
The couple also recently purchased an $8 million home in nearby Arcadia, where they plan to live until construction on their new mega-mansion is completed.
