Tepper is the founder and head of Appaloosa Management, one of the top performing large hedge funds on Wall Street. As of March 2014, Forbes ranks him as the 122nd richest person in the world, worth an estimated $10 billion. Tepper is also a minority owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Currently owned by hedge fund manager David Tepper. Tepper purchased the home from Corzine, who Tepper worked for early in his career, and Corzine refused to promote Tepper within the company. Tepper tore down the existing home and built a much larger estate.
