Michael Barnes & Lisa Underwood's House

Michael Barnes is a powerful New York City-based hedge fund founder. His fund, Tricadia Capital, currently has nearly $4 billion in AUM (assets under management). He and his wife Lisa purchased this celebrity-pedigreed Bel Air estate in Feb 2013 for $11.4M.

The house has an interesting ownership history. Actress Renee Zellweger bought it in 2002 but sold it just one year later to actress Debra Messing because she was not able to spend much time there. When Messing put it up for sale in early 2013, actress Sofia Vergara reportedly tried to buy the estate but was ultimately outbid by Barnes and Underwood.
