Last October [2008], the production company for the movie, “The Joneses,” looked in the Alpharetta area for a house to rent for an “A-list” movie star who had a lead role in the film. They saw a home for sale online, paid a visit and immediately fell in love. Who was the star that wanted the place? Demi Moore, who had a lead role in the film along with David Duchovny.

Moore came to see the house and took an immediate liking to it — especially to the owner’s cat, Tom, who Moore asked to remain at the house while she, her assistant and chef stayed for five weeks.
