Dick Van Dyke's Childhood Home

Dick Van Dyke's Childhood Home (StreetView)
TV legend Dick Van Dyke and his brother Jerry lived in this house during their high school years. The city of Danville has condemned it and planed to tear it down in December 2014. When the city condemned the home, officials didn’t know the Van Dyke connection. The property’s last owner died in 2011. Organizers of Dick Van Dyke Foundation restored the house and turned it into a museum and also as the headquarters of the Dick Van Dyke Foundation which provides scholarships for young entertainers.

This is a landmark of two famous, and loved actors. The Historical Society needs to restore it, and do tours.
