Djerba, AKA Jerba or Jarbah, is an island and the largest island in North Africa at 514 sq km, in the Gulf of Gabès, off the coast of Tunisia. Citing the long & unique history of its Jewish minority in Djerba, Tunisia has sought UNESCO World Heritage status protections for the island.

Designated a World Heritage Site in 2023.
