Dodge Avenger Coupe

Dodge Avenger Coupe

Pottstown, Pennsylvania (PA), US
The Dodge Avenger Coupe, related to the Chrysler Sebring Coupe, was manufactured by Diamond Star Motors, a joint venture between Chrysler and Mitsubishi from 1994 to 2000, but it was until 1996 when DSM markings were present in the engines, as DSM was renamed Mitsubishi Motors Manufacturing America the previous year. This front-wheel drive coupe came with either an inline-4 engine or a Mitsubishi-designed V6, and while automatic transmissions were available for both configurations, only the former received a 5-speed manual. After being replaced by the Dodge Stratus Coupe for 2001, the Avenger nameplate was then revived in 2007 for the 2008 model year as a mid-size sedan and was produced until 2014.
