Don Shula is best known as coach of the Miami Dolphins (70-95), the team he led to two Super Bowl victories, and to the National Football League's only perfect season. Shula was named 1993 Sportsman of the Year by Sports Illustrated. He currently holds the NFL record for most career wins with 347. Shula only had two below .500 seasons in his 32-year career. He is first in most games coached (526), and his teams were consistently among the least penalized in the NFL.
Shula played for the Cleveland Browns (51-52), Baltimore Colts (53-56), and Washington Redskins (1957) and also coached the Baltimore Colts (63-69).
