He joined Harte-Hanks in 2007 and serves as the company's top financial executive. Shepard most recently served as CFO and treasurer of HVHC Inc., the vision holding company of health-care provider Highmark, and as EVP, CFO, treasurer and secretary of Eye Care Centers of America, Inc., which is owned by HVHC. Shepard joined Eye Care Centers of America in 1995. Prior to his employment with Eye Care Centers of America, Shepard worked for a publicly traded restaurant company and for Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
