This has been a golf driving range for quite some time. Not sure if it had prior life as a drive-in. Not likely to last as a driving range for much longer - if even still.

I just talke to a friend of mine who has lived in Austin for a very long time. He said before it was a driving range it was a three screen drive in complex. I don't see where the other two were. You are probably right about it not lasting as a driving range the way that area is being developed. Too bad because at least it was SOME form of greenspace.
