Mr. Urdang combines a blend of academic expertise and over 30 years of real world real estate investing experience. As Founder and Chairman of Urdang Capital Management, Inc., Mr. Urdang has been responsible for developing and implementing the real estate investment strategy that has consistently produced exceptional results. Prior to founding Urdang in 1987, Mr. Urdang was with a national consulting and accounting firm, where he served as regional partner in charge of Real Estate Consulting with national responsibility for its pension consulting practice. Mr. Urdang's background also includes experience as a developer, involved in all facets of financing and investing in residential subdivisions, office buildings, apartments and shopping centers.

Mr. Urdang is a nationally recognized teacher, author, speaker and practitioner, known for his original and creative ideas on real estate investing. Mr. Urdang has 25 years experience as a professor of The Wharton School with responsibility for teaching both the undergraduate and graduate courses in Real Estate Finance and Investment Analysis. He has also published, taught, and lectured extensively throughout the U.S., including conducting University of California (Berkeley) Real Estate Investment Analysis Seminars and developing courses for the Urban Land Institute on structuring joint ventures between pension funds and real estate developers. Mr. Urdang holds a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University, an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
