Eaton Park

Eaton Park

Norwich, United Kingdom (GB)
Eaton Park Gardens were first opened in 1928 by the Prince of Wales as the flagship scheme of the so called "Sandys-Winsch" parks. Named after the parks superintendent of the time, Captain Sandys-Winsch, these parks are characterised by their formal geometric layout, the use of reinforced concrete to create classical features and the inclusion of water features. Today these Gardens still retain much of that geometric form and Eaton Park Gardens are a perfect example and include a domed ceramic tile mosaic fountain in the ornamental gardens.
