Edward Walson is the son of John Walson, the inventor of cable television. Ed is president and owner of Service Electric Broadband Cable TV of New Jersey. He is an Emmy Award winning producer of local news, weather and entertainment programming. Walson partnered with Regis Philbin to form Regis & Friends Television company to develop original content for broadcast and cable networks. He is also an active investor and producer of independent feature films and Broadway plays. Walson also owns hotel and restaurant properties in Florida and plays an active philanthropic role in the Elton John Aids Foundation.
