This facility has a capacity of 34,130 seats and is located in the outskirts of the city of Santiago de Querétaro, 145 km (90 miles) north Mexico City. This sport facility is used mostly for football games. It is the home of the team Querétaro FC. This stadium hosted the Football World Cup 1986.
Built in 1985 in a German and Mexican collaboration, it is considered one of the most beautiful stadiums in Mexico and one with the best designs allowing the stadium to be from completely full to completely empty in less than 7 minutes.
