The Estonian Olympic Committee was founded in 1923. Their athletes competed for the Soviet Union in international competition after 1940. The committee was reestablished in 1991 after the country regained it's independence.

This building is also home to many of the country's individual international sports federations, including handball, judo, karate, ice hockey, fencing, and equestrian.
