Etloe House (Birds Eye)
Etloe House, that is Grade II listed by Historic England, dates from 1760 but has altered in appearance over the years. Cardinal Wiseman, Archbishop of Westminster, used this as his country house from 1856. The other "famous" resident here was William Bowyer a friend of the famous Dr Johnson.
