If you follow a line generally WSW to ENE there is a whole series of both airplane carcasses and aerial photo resolution grids.

This is an X-21, a converted Douglas B-66. It had a laminar flow wing and the engines were moved to the rear fuselage. Only two were built and both are on the photo ranges at Edwards
