The nave is from the 12th century,
the choir and tower is from the 15th century is from 16th century.

In the chruch you will find frescoes from the 14th century in
the vaulted ceiling of the nave and a stained glass painting from 1955.
The pulpit is from 1596 and the altar from 1575.
Here is the most important treasure of the church:
the famous Christian the Third Bible from 1550.

The Earl of Bothwell, Mary Stuarts third husbond, is buried in a coffin
in the crypt below the chapel in FĂ„revejle Church.
He died in 1578 as a prisoner in the dreaded dungeon of Dragsholm Castle.
