The long barrow is located on a patch of land in a field. The barrow is thought to have been constructed between 3950 BC - 2801 BC. The dolmen is in good condition with the dolmen and barrow itself intact. The barrow shares the land with an ancient burial mound.
The barrow is one of several within the area. All dolmens and barrows are protected.
