Farallon de Pajaros is the westernmost island in the Northern Mariana Islands chain. It is also the westernmost point in the United States if you include insular areas and exclude International Date Line rules. Its highest point is 1,180 feet (360 m) above sea level. It is 1.2 miles in diameter, and it is a volcanic island that has had many eruptions.
