In the first season episodes (i'm up to E10 now) I notice the establishing exterior shot of her apartment building is actually a picture of the building at 555 FDR Drive, corner of E 78th St.

Correction: it was the building at 555 E 78th St, on the corner of FDR Drive. Not clear what the FDR address number would be.
