The station was located on a small branch that lead to the nearby quarry. The station at Ashey Racecourse was located right next to the station and the small station served as a station for the spectators at the racecourse.

Nothing remains of the station. The site has now become a field. No evidence of the small branch line or the actual acecourse remain.
When you approach the road end of the path it deviates slightly from the old railway line but to your immediate right you will see the remains of a cutting and amongst the undergrowth is the sealed up old tunnel entrance which led under the road and into the Chalkpit on the other side. In the pit itself, there is no evidence of the other side of the tunnel, it seems to have collapsed, been removed, or it is buried.
