Description:

Plum Brook Ordnance Works (PBOW), located near Sandusky, Ohio, produced explosives during World War II. Later, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center occupied the site. The Plum Brook Reactor Facility was NASA's primary facility for research and development of nuclear energy for space applications until decommisioning.
