MI6 used this site for the transmission, interception and analysis of signals intelligence (SIGINT) over the decades since WWII.

Creslow site was said to have been used as Numbers Station allowing MI6 agents around the world to keep in touch with HQ at home. [www.secret-bases.co.uk]

Although all the aerials went many years ago the main building constructed at that time remains and looks to still be in use.
