Newport station was a small station on Isle of Wight. The station opned 1st July 1913 and closed 1st August 1923. The station was opened by the Freshwater, Yarmouth & Newport Railway and closed by the Southern Railway.

What's left today:
Nothing remains of the station today. A funeral parlour now stands on the site.

Note: near the site of this station was another station called Newport. Both stations were opened by seperate companies. This station was part of the Freshwater Yarmouth & Newport Railway while the bigger station was part of the Isle of Wight Central Railway.
