1965 I was flying as Flight Engineer on a NAVY C130 carrying a Armored Personnel Vehicle from Germany, via Oslo, Norway, to McChord AFB in Washington state. Lost and engine up over Canada and had to land at a base in the US, Wurtsmith AFB was the closest so there we went. We were at Wurtsmith for two days and found the local Ladies of Oscoda to be mighty fond of Sailors.
