This is a reconstruction of the original 1770 settlement which became the city of Nashville. It is located along the Cumberland River near the original site of the stockade. The site was originally reconstructed in 1930, but it was rebuilt in 1962 on a smaller scale. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
The site is maintained by the city's parks department. Visitors can take a free self-guided tour.
