FT Trumbull was the previous site of the Navy's Underwater Warfare Center - now gone.
Currently Ft Trumbull is a State Park and US Coast Guard Station New London.
An additional Pier is available for ships to moor and the USCGC Eagle can be found here between trips when it cannot make it to the USCG Academy for some reason.
