In 2011, McCourt reached a settlement with wife Jamie in their divorce case whereby ex-wife Jamie would receive about $130 million and relinquish her claim on the Dodgers. The highly publicized divorce believed to be the costliest divorce in California history and among the 10 costliest anywhere. However, Jamie claims Frank's net worth is $1.7 billion, which would require a larger settlement amount. In 2013, McCourt paid $8 million for this property.
