Good thing that the French Quarter was mostly spared. That's probably the most culturally important area of New Orleans.

Highly unlikely that this is post-Katrina NOLA. There's no evidence of any damage to the shoreline features, including the very orderly barges tied up on the eastern side of the image.

Don't let the blue roofs fool you. That's an anomly of the photo technology.

While the thumbnail is of a post-Katrina French Quarter, the map it links to, like all the maps showing the hurricane devastation, has since been updated--or pre-dated-- to New Orleans during happier times.
