This really is a sort of aviation museum. About 60 airplanes, helicopters etc. The name of the place is Frunze Central Airport (Frunze being the name of a Soviet military leader of the thirties after which the airport is named). The airport is not in use for a long time. A few years ago it was decided to bulid some appartment houses there, the construction site is clearly visiblte to the south-west of the runway.
