Göteborg class corvette is a class of corvettes in the Royal Swedish Navy, that was built in 1990-1993. Armed with eight RBS15 antiship missiles, torpedoes, one 57mm cannon and one 40mm cannon. The class was meant to search and destroy Soviet submarines and surface ships when it was designed. Today it has also been given the role to act in international crisis.
