He is the senior partner in Fieger Law and an occasional legal commentator for NBC and MSNBC. His practice focuses on criminal defense, litigation and medical malpractice cases.
Most notably, he was the defense attorney for Jack Kevorkian. He was the 1998 Democratic Michigan Gubernatorial candidate but was defeated 62-38% by John Engler.
His brother was the lead singer of The Knacks who sang "My Charona."
