Ford survived the Citigroup meltdown in 2008 by hedging his shares with options. He owns a 25,791 sq ft home on this site that is valued as the 2nd most expensive in Dallas. He also has homes in the Hamptons, Dallas, Manhattan and Beverly Hills, as well as a working ranch in New Mexico and thoroughbred farm in Kentucky.
