Gerard Depardieu's House

Gerard Depardieu is a French actor and filmmaker, who is a resident of Belgium. He is a Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur, Chevalier of the Ordre national du Mérite and has twice won the César Award for Best Actor. He also won the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in Green Card and was nominated for an Academy Award for the title role in Cyrano de Bergerac.

Depardieu has announced his plan to give up his French citizenship and has listed this 20,000 sqft estate for sale for €50M in protest of President François Hollande's increasing of the top tax rate to 75%. President Hollande has called Depardieu's action "a shabby maneuver" and Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault called it "rather pathetic".
