This 4806 seat arena opened in 1979. This was home to the Adirondack Red Wings of the American Hockey League from 1979-99. The Adirondack Frostbite of the United Hockey League skated here from 2000-06. The nearby Albany River Rats of the AHL have played several home games here since 2006.
