The Granada Theatre opened 18 January, 1929. It was designed by Daniel J. Crighton, a noted theatre architect. It featured a stone water fountain which was shaped like the bow of a ship crashing through the wall. It was added to the Register of Historic Buildings in 2004, and is now used for live performances.
