Gundsølille Langdysse (Long Barrow)

Gundsølille Langdysse (Long Barrow)

Gundsømagle, Denmark (DK)
The barrow is located on a wooded patch of land and the end of a field. Originally the site was slightly overgrown but has since been cleared to reveal the structure - as seen on ariel photographs. The full length of the barrow remains intact and the majority of the stones, together with the dolmen, remain intact too. The barrow is thought to have been constructed sometime between 3950 BC - 2801 BC.

The barrow is one of several within the area. All dolmens and barrows are protected.
